Jesus had to be born because we the people need a Shepherd.

As Jesus continues his narrative in Luke 15, he tells a story of a rebellious child. He tells the story so we can understand the father who set the redemption of nativity in motion.

Why is God not enough for us? Why do we not recognize how good we have it and how wonderful God really is?
